SATIVA SUN take you on a disoriented journey through thick, murky guitars, rollicking basslines and guttural, emotive vocals. Songs gradually intensify, before bursting into soaring, guitar-driven crescendos drenched in feedback.

Now calling Sydney their home, Brisbane ex-pats SATIVA SUN have hit the ground running with a stream of shows throughout the the innercity and innerwest. A bluesy/psychedelic rock experience that will leave you creaming for more.

Recent success at venues around town led them to opportunities to tour overseas to New Caledonia, and to share the stage with local and international acts such as BLEEDING KNEES CLUB, THE SNOWDROPPERS, ROSE TATTO, GAY PARIS, KILL CTIY KREEPS, PEABODY, MIDGET, GREENTHIEF, THE TREWS and JUSTIN DERRICO.

Following a sucessfull east coast tour last November, the boys are taking it easy until the new year where work on a debut EP will comence. But once theyre ready to hit the stage, be sure to catch the boys do what they do best as they assault as many senses as they can, flushed and sweat-soaked from excessive passion, with super energetic sets that are brimmed with sexual energy and the overpowering frenzy of classic rock.

ROYAL BLOOD

Royal Blood are a two piece formed on the other side of the world in Brighton, UK. Together Michael Kerr, the UK native, and Matthew Swan from Northern NSW, compose sizeable, catchy rock and roll tunes, creating a sound far bigger then their number. Monstrous bass sounds and undeniably catchy drum beats characterize Royal Blood’s sound, which draws comparisons to Muse and The White Stripes. This fledgling act will surpass all of your expectations, with their infectious rock and roll sound. Royal Blood are ones to watch in 2012 – be prepared for them to take Australia by storm with their intense and massive live shows in 2012.
