We all knew that the afterparty was going to be a wild affair, & whilst it may not have gone exactly how we imagined or hoped, it was a spectacle nonetheless....

Despite a 'wonderful' reception from the bluenote's royal guard & their local inhabitants, the unicorns still went out and championed the cause with laser swords on light up dancefloors.

"Got to Go"

Filmed & Directed by Pimpest C

http://thebungalowsmusic.wordpress.com/listen/

Album also available from their interwebnet site

We will be having a short break from the uploading of our videos, or until the main man Pimp C returns from New York.

He will be overseas for 5 weeks filming a documentary (see below) and in the meantime (as we are technically illiterate)

we wont be uploading nearly as frequently....

But we will be filming, and when the pimp returns, all videos will be available... So be patient.

In the meantime, hopefully this can keep you entertained.

Keep on Keepin' On is a feature length documentary that follows the lives of 3 up-and-coming musicians, linked by their close association with one of the last living Jazz Legends, the great Clark Terry. The movie will take an in-depth look into the history of each character, and follow their lives for a year.

Clark Terry mentored - among others - Miles Davis and Quincy Jones, placing him as one of the most influential musicians of all time.

This is a video project a bunch of our friends are involved in and we are helping as much as we can by getting the word out a little for them. Check out the link below for more info on the project and ways to help make it happen or even be involved.....

No we haven’t been censoring what gets put up on this website,

And no, the reason we pulled the Walking Who video off is not because we are spiteful horrible people and just didn’t want you to enjoy it....

But they are going to be doing a little edit to make the whole experience a little.... well, shorter and 'viewer friendly'.

Keeping in mind that these days, attention spans don’t often exceed 512 killer giga bits p/s....

We'll put the new clip up when it’s done.....

And the old one, once they get signed.

ANDREW BASS is opening his "Dead Planet" exhibition on Saturday 22nd of Jan.

With the loss of indifference comes the door to perception. A tiny spectacle of light in the infinite dark. A potential explosion of consciousness unknown.

Dead Planet invites the viewer into a world of shifting perspectives where the voyage skews truths and disables realities. Across a vast lunar landscape, the voyage begins and ends with a speck of ligh...t within an assembled universe. Comprised of six traditional black and white silver-gelatin prints and a spherical copper structure, the work weaves between abstraction and reality building a world of its own. Such a world fuses the magical with the real, creating a surreal platform within a contemporary context.

Planet Sadie is somewhat of a sister to the dead planet piece. The diptych is the beginning of Bass’ surrealist explorations, a questioning of how and what we see. The work blurs fact and fiction in a play of perceptions.

Portal moves away from the more traditional aspects of the other pieces. The lightbox installation acts an inverted window into the night sky that shifts spatial relationships and senses of gravity.
